Where oh where has the time gone..May has arrived with the heat and no rain but the flowers have been beautiful. I do hope you are enjoying the spring but soon Summer will be here and vacations are being planned.
New dies are coming from Quickutz as they were mailed this date. For those of you who are quickutz fans a new buyers card is now availaable..for each 5 dies you buy you may select a 2x2 or 4x4 die for FREE.
School papers have gone to press and soon to arrive, Gilbert, Ben Lippen included.

Golly Gees where has the month gone? I wanted to let you know that we are a week away from National Scrapbooking Day May 1st. We plan make n'takes and you are welcome to come and crop the day away.
There have been new products you may not have seen that keep coming Creative Imaginations Graduation papers new theatre and dance papers on order and expected soon are new school papers that include Ben Lippen so come on in and get in on these great new products.

Happy St. Patrick's Day
Don't ask me where the time goes but gracious it is the middle of March and the IRS cometh soon. I hope you will take the time to enjoy the upcoming Spring weather and come see what has blown in at Scrapbook Heaven.

Happy Groundhog Day and boy are we ready for better weather!
I apologize to each of you that January just came and went before I got to update the blog and wish you would leave a message on the blog and receive an extra $10 punch on your keytag.

With five days before Christmas, there are lots of things to do, preparing for visitors and families to spend this wonderful time of the year.
Our store will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and reopen on the 26th. For those last minute gifts to include gift certificates are available. Grab boxes of a variety of scrapbooking supplies available from $15 to $35 (retail from $50-$100).

Plans are in the works for 2010 and we hope you will join us. We will close at 3p.m. New Years Eve and closed New Years Day.

Boy oh boy, we have had a mix up with our emails this past week and have shut down until this issue gets cleared up. Wow, our crop for Breast Cancer held over the weekend was a great success. If you were not in attendance, we missed you because these gals got some work done that had been put aside for awhile. The food was good, the company was cordial and best of all $1100.00 was collected for women in crisis administered by Lexington Medical Center. I want to personally thank those that assisted with their time, energy and monies. The hotel 's room was very comfortable and we appreciate their hospitality. So if you need to have a place to stay Comfort Suites is the place to be.
This weekend also celebrates our 8 years in business. Thanks to all who support us in this adventure.

Excitement is in the air as we approach cooler weather and the upcoming Breast Cancer Crop for women in crisis with all proceeds being given to Lexington Medical Center. We look forward to having a great group with lots of give aways and information for detection of this dreaded disease. This is our 5th year to give to this worthy cause and we have a few spots left if you would like to attend.
Don't forget the new Epic Six from Quickutz is to arrive on the 5th of October and all the preordered machines will be given out first. Cost of the machine is $89.99. a great new cutiing tool for Christmas. Check out the new dies available as this week all current dies are 30% off.

Golly gees I can hardly believe it is September and cooler than usual. Fall is in the air and plans are being made for our annual scrapbooking event for breast cancer.

Sept. 9: Card Class (10:30 A.M.-Noon). $20 Sign up now and come join this creative group.
Sept. 26: Christmas Tree Balls Adornment or Toppers — $25 includes class and stamp. A great idea to make for a gift for folks that have everything. Sign up as class is limited. You will need an x-acto knife, cutting mat, black ink and basic tools.

Scrapping for Breast Cancer, October 10th to be held at Comfort Suites in Lexington from 9 A.M. until 11 P.M. Cost $30 to include lunch and dinner. We ask for donations (all tax deductible) made to Lexington Medical Center Foundation For Women In Crisis.

It seems as if I have had a problem again trying to find the time to update all the information of the happenings at Scrapbook Heaven. If you have not been by the store lately, you have missed some great new products that have arrived.
Final presale price on the Quickutz Epic cutting machine coming to an end on Aug. 31st. We are expecting this new tool as soon as the manufacturer gets it to us. Apparantly it is on the slow boat from China??? Cost for machine as of Sept. 1 will be $89.99. Get your name on list before the 1st to buy at $69.99.

Wow, time flies and here we are into Summer, graduations, father's day and travel plans being made. I am going back to the mountains next week and look forward to enjoying my children.

I wanted to let you know that the Riley collection from Anna Griffin is in and so cute with glitter and flocked papers. Hurry in to see this cute group.
We have received the Traveler collection from Little Yellow Bicycle, by the way I bought a bicycle but it is RED.

If you missed the events of National Scrapbooking Day at Scrapbook Heaven, we had a great time and met lots of new scrappers.

Today the COPIC marker class was held and if you missed this GREAT class we missed you. The teacher,Katie gave us great overview of how these markers can give you a wonderful look in cardmaking and scrapbooking. We plan to have the second class as soon as a date can be set. We will keep you posted and new pens and colors will be here soon.

Tomorrow is Mother's Day and we wish for each of you to have a blessed day. I do not have to cook, my children are having me for dinner. whohooo

Back from the mountains!

Well we are back from the week in the Glorious mountains. The weather was CRAZY. It rained, snowed and finally the sun shined. We went to Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, and did lots of shopping.

Now....on to store news:

We have lots of great things planned for National Scrapbook Day (May 2nd). Can't give away all of our secrets, but want you to know that we have several great make and takes planned for you to enjoy.

We have just gotten in some great new paper from Best Creations just in time for spring. We have also just gotten in some great baby lines from Little Yellow Bicycle. You will see some snapshots below. Anna Griffen is on her way to the store, and new Spring stamps from Hero Arts. Can't wait for you to see all that is new and dust off your books and get ready to scrap!
